What I Learned From Our Failed Adoption

For nearly three years, my husband and I researched, discussed, held fundraisers for, and saved for the adoption of our little baby.

After all of that saving, the home study visits, and endless background checks, we were finally notified that an expecting mother had chosen us to adopt her baby last summer!
